Green Energy you say? Take this White Energy.
Researchers have uncovered an astonishing 46 million tons of natural hydrogen. Its France’s golden egg moment!
We dump plastics in the ocean, now CO2? Is that even a half-good idea?
The oceans are the thermostats of the planet and as with everything we are playing god with it. How does it affect the climate? Scientists try answering…

March heatwave in Central Asia is up to 10 °C hotter
Central Asia in March 2025 basically skipped spring and went straight to summer. Climate change really said, “Surprise, it’s summer!”
Millets have been making waves, is it really black and white?

Shared Socioeconomic Pathways help explore future Climate Change
All humans desire change, provided it applies only to others… Okay, on a lesser philosophical note, what happens if we change our ways, or don’t? — Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) are the crystal balls of climate change. Take this neat primer!
Clean Energy hits 40% of global electricity, but CO2 emissions keep rising
Clean energy is now a major part of global electricity but the emissions are still climbing... Why, you ask? You know you are one click away from the answer!
What can you do as an individual?
It’s amazing how our everyday choices can shrink waste, cut down consumption, and help protect wildlife and the environment. So, go ahead—save the planet one tiny tweak at a time... and maybe let your carbon footprint take a much-needed holiday while you’re at it!
Here are a couple of tips to leave an impact:
Green your search engines: Did you know that your web searches have a carbon footprint? Switch to eco-friendly search engines like Ecosia, which plants trees with its ad revenue. So, every random cat fact you search is helping the planet one tree at a time!
Make your fridge go green: Your fridge works harder when it’s squished up against the wall. Pull it a few inches away to improve airflow, and you’ll save energy without even trying. Don’t take my word for it, but sure do take the researchers’.
Opt for "natural" screen time: Set your computer and phone screens to ‘night mode’ or reduce brightness—it uses less energy! It’s a tiny tweak, but across billions of devices, the energy savings could power a small country (or at least a few eco-friendly towns).
Here’s a quick icebreaker (quite literally with the melting ice caps)!
