Science & Adaptation
Google’s new AI model is trying to digital twinnize our Earth
Foundation models are all the rage, that how all assignments are done these days(😜😎) But Google wants to go beyond assignments (😅)and help with climate change, see how! What’s in house for the next 5 years according to WMO?
WMO is our only surviving soothsayer, all the other oracles died in 2007 (HP7 if you will 🪄)… Just kidding but they do predict the future. Want to know what they say we have in house till 2029?China’s clean-energy is steamrolling the greenway
China is not just the cool kid in the corridor, it’s the Kyurem of our heating world. Want to know why? See what they did in 2024 alone.
What can you do as an individual?
You know, our everyday choices can shrink waste, cut down consumption, and help protect wildlife and the environment. So, go ahead—save the planet one tiny tweak at a time... and maybe let your carbon footprint take a much-needed holiday!
Use sustainable transportation such as walking, biking, carpooling, or public transit whenever possible. This reduces emissions from fossil fuel-powered personal vehicles and promotes healthier lifestyles.
Conserve energy and water by turning off lights and electronics when not in use, using energy-efficient appliances, and reducing water waste. Supporting renewable energy or encouraging schools to adopt energy-saving measures also helps.
Adopt a greener diet by reducing meat and dairy consumption and choosing more plant-based meals. Participating in climate clubs, eco-friendly initiatives (you know where you can go for that, right?
😉), or tree-planting campaigns engages students in collective action.
Climate Heroes
Climate Heroes is a series on climate scientists and their contributions to our understanding of climate change. You will hear about the famous ones, the unsung ones and how they have impacted our worldview.
